About Your Child's First Dentist Visit

We have found that an early introduction to the dentist’s office really goes a long way in kids having a positive dental experience that will last a lifetime.

Parents are encouraged to bring their little ones along for their cleaning, allowing them to do fun things like riding in the chair and playing with the suction. We like them to have their first official cleaning and exam around their third birthday.

Especially important for developing adult teeth, fluoride strengthens enamel and gives newly erupted adult teeth extra protection against the sometimes intermittent brushing habits of kids.
